  • About the Club

The PTA runs French classes on Thursdays after school in the main building.  The classes are run by Anne Jeffreys through La Jolie Ronde franchise.  La Jolie Ronde is a national organisation which has been established since 1983 and is recognised by the French government.  The course is used all over the UK and abroad by thousands of children.  It uses various teaching methods including songs, rhymes, stories, role-plays, games etc…

P3 and P4:
15.25 – 16.10 (45 minute class) – cost per class £5.15

P5, P6 and P7:

MATERIALS:
Each child needs a book and CD pack to follow the classes.  These are one off costs.
Book and CD packs cost £18.  Note: some pupils who have been at the classes this year might not need to buy new materials.  This depends on their level.

  • Application Process and Fees

You can join the language clubs at any time during the term, there is no need to wait until the beginning of a term – the courses are designed for children to be able to fit in at any point and fees will be calculated accordingly.  To apply for a place, please contact Anne Jeffreys on 07717 495294 or anne.jeffreys@lajolierondelicensee.co.uk, who will arrange your child’s enrolment and payment details.

We would like to respectfully remind parents of the discipline code that is applied to all clubs and would like to emphasise that all clubs are for children who are interested in the activity.  The provision of any club is subject to sufficient interest, and we reserve the right to withdraw a club if enrollment numbers are low.
