Welcome to Dean Park Primary School Parent Teacher Association Website.

The website aims to provide information on all the activities of the PTA throughout the school year.  We hope the contents will prove useful to Parents and Teachers as we organise our fund-raising events and distribute the funds to benefit the pupils of Dean Park Primary School.

The PTA are always seeking volunteers to help with PTA activities and welcome parents and teachers at our monthly PTA meetings.  Dates and times can be found in the dairy of forthcoming events.

If you are a parent of a Dean Park Primary School pupil and are interested in joining the PTA, please contact a member of the existing PTA.

If you have any feedback on the website, please either speak to a member of the PTA or hand in suggestions in writing to the school office in an envelope, clearly  marked “PTA Website”.

About the PTA

The PTA is a voluntary independent organisation, made up of an elected mixture of parents and teachers. Its purpose is to support the school, augmenting the facilities provided by the Local Authority to advance the education of the children, through a strong partnership with the school itself. We do this by fostering close co-operation and communication among parents, staff and others associated with the school, extending our relationship, and engaging in activities that support the school.

A major part of our work is fund-raising for the school throughout the year, however the PTA is also involved in the provision of after school clubs, uniforms and is also a forum for parents to raise suggestions, ideas and concerns relating to school matters.

If you would like any other information regarding the PTA, would like to become a member, or have any suggestions or ideas about fund-raising (or where the money might be spent) please do not hesitate to contact any of the PTA committee or alternatively drop a note into the school office for the attention of the PTA.

If you are interested in setting up your own fundraising activity, why not create a page on Just Giving. To set up a just giving page click on the donate on line button at the bottom of the page and then click on the Make your Page.  It’s really easy and takes just a few minutes.You can personalise it with your own colours, photos and message. Then just email it to your friends and family, so they can donate online and leave you messages of support. JustGiving sends donations straight to Dean Park Primary School Parent Teachers Association and adds Gift Aid to every eligible donation.
